First Year...Jul 2004 ¬ May 2005

It's the final week of my 4 years bachelor's degree.
I have spent 4 years in a place where I wished I hadn't been there in the first place.

Here's how the story begins...

(paused for a few hours)

Think I'll just put pictures...hehe

After the university orientation, hall orientation, finally it's the school orientation.
We were forced to go by our seniors. Even though they said it's compulsory for freshies, some just ignore them. =p

Of all the places in Malaysia, they chose a cave.

When we reached there, the seniors had already set up the tents ready for us to move in.

That was my first experience staying in a tent. It's not bad actually until the seniors said 4 persons had to stay in a tent. Uh...
And my tent had a stone beneath it. Crap...My back was pain the next day.

That night, we were divided into a few groups. Then we named our group Stalagtic after a deposit, usually of calcium carbonate, more or less resembling an inverted stalactite, formed on the floor of a cave or the like by the dripping of percolating calcareous water. But of course we change the spelling because we are a bunch of creative guys.

It's either that or we got the spelling wrong. Haha...

It was all about group presentation the whole night.
The seniors reminded those who wanted to take a morning bath to wake up earlier.
I woke up damn early and I spent like half an hour in the bathroom. Keke.
The guy waiting for me outside was damn pissed off. Don't blame me. Blame the stupid water. It was dripping not flowing.
Then it was the exercise session.

Then the game begins.

We started off a total stranger. We don't know each other but we bonded almost instantly.

From shoulder to shoulder, we overcame obstacles.

We danced together.

We enjoyed each other's company.

Then we tried to blow each other up. =p

That night, we went jungle trekking. They blindfolded us and brought us to some secluded places around the area. Then they made noises thinking that it's going to scare us.

Sorry...it didn't work.
Keke...

The next day it was time to go back to the buggy campus.

We packed...

Took pictures...

Then we were ready to go...

That was just the beginning of our 4 years journey.

This entry is a bit messy.
I'll try my best to make it more interesting at my next entry.
Until then...see ya!!

There's Never An End...Or Is There?

2 more weeks and it is the end of this semester.
No more classes, no more quizzes and no more hanging around with friends like the past 4 years.

3 more weeks: FYP submission.
Still on the way but a long way to go.

6 more weeks, exam's over!!!
It's not the end yet.

7 more weeks: FYP presentation (or we call it VIVA).
After that, no more university life. It's the end.

When I first applied for this course, I thought it was offered in University Science Malaysia in Penang Island.
Never did I know the existence of University Science Malaysia, Penang Mainland.
But I came anyway. Not that I have a choice.
It's a new campus with no entertainment around the area.

I dreaded Monday and waiting for Friday, all the time.
After 1st year, the time seems to past a bit more faster.

2nd year: I started to get used to the life here.

3rd year: Interesting and memorable one too. I started to enjoy myself more. I learned how to skip classes...keke. I don't know what the lecturers (some of the lecturers) were teaching though.
And my results started to drop too. But never mind.

4th year (final year): Results keep dropping...=p. Maybe will increase, a bit.
Have faith...I still have this final semester!
But I enjoyed more compared to the previous 3 years. There was less class to attend, but...
I still skipped it most of the time. Haha...

I can't wait to leave this university...
it's the people who make me not wanting to leave this university.

Friends will remain friends...
There's never an end....Or is there?

Penangites have voted...

It's time to change. That's what we Penangites voted for.

8.30pm and there are already rumours saying that the opposition parties have won most of the state seats. Election Commission (EC) did not announce anything yet. Rumours has it that the outgoing Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr. Koh has been defeated. After a few hours, he held a press conference announcing his lost to the opposition parties. Now that the opposition parties have won, we don't call them opposition parties anymore. They are the new state government of Penang. The oppositon party in the state would be the Barisan Nasional (BN), I guess.

3 nominees of Chief Minister in Penang have been defeated. Last month, they were fighting for the post. Now they can't even retain their post. Life sucks!

BN was shock when they lost Penang. They predict a minor lost but a total handover to the opposition parties is beyond their expectation. Various development plans are already planned in Penang before the General Election. The thing is, do we want this development?
Maybe all we want is a sustainable development.

With the new state government taking over, they have the right to cancel any plans. We don't know what are their plans yet.

New government will be formed tomorrow.
Democratic Action Party (DAP) is the state government of Penang.

No one knows what will happen next.
I know I need newspaper every morning from tomorrow onwards.

Before that,  let's see what they have to offer.

Sarah Why? 2

It's about time for Sarah Why? 2.
I guess this is the most anticipated entry in this blog.

This time I have a picture of her promoting a camera...hehe
She always said it's not about the camera.
I disagree. It's about the camera all the time.

Between a square Sarah..
And a hot, sexy, fair skin covered in a black shirt with an innocent look camera..
How do you choose?
I prefer the camera.
Everyone loves the camera.

She had a minor operation a week ago.
Viral infection is to be blamed.
It's been troubling her for years.
The doctor took out a pimple-like thingy from her arm.

Now that the infection is gone, the wound starts to haunt her.
She may look tough but she's like any other girls.
Afraid of pain.
Complaining about a tiny little wound.

4 stitches.
That's all we need to soften a girl.

KH told Sarah there are similarities between my blog and Sarah's.
Yes. It's 90% similar.
I'm not creative enough to think of a new way to write a blog.

I need to stop writing about her and start writing about me.
It's time to give her a break...keke
So goodbye Sarah!!!

Friend or Foe?

You have a secret.
You tell a friend.

He/She told someone else.
He/She thinks it'll be secret between them.

You found out.
You promised yourself never to tell your friend any secrets anymore.

He/She apologized.
He/She accepted your decision.

After a while...

You told your friend another secret.
You believed he/she has changed.

He/She told someone else.
He/She regretted what he/she did.

You were angry.
You promised never to tell he/she any secrets anymore.

He/She apologized again.
He/She believed that you will never tell him/her any secrets anymore.

Do you think he/she deserves another chance?
Is he/she a friend or a foe?

Friend? Not a trust-worthy friend perhaps.
Then why give him/her another chance in the first place?

Foe? Maybe.
But a good listener too.

How do you decide?
